Vintage Mid Century Ceramic Christmas Angel Musician Candle Holder Figurine Red Harp Lyre 1950s–1960s

Add a touch of sweet mid-century Christmas nostalgia to your holiday décor with this charming vintage Shafford ceramic angel candle holder figurine from Japan. This is a single/replacement piece from the NOEL set.

Dating to the 1950s, this hand-painted angel candle stick holder is part of Shafford’s collectible NOEL Christmas angel musician series. The figurine forms the letter “N” in the NOEL set and features an angel playing a small banjo or mandolin-style instrument. The bright red letter, creamy white robe, delicate wings, blonde hair, and gold-painted accents give this little piece wonderful retro Christmas character.

The underside is marked“6A/217,” a number also found on a matching Shafford NOEL angel set identified as Japanese and dating to the 1950s.

This is a single figurine from the original NOEL set, making it a lovely display piece on its own or a wonderful replacement for a collector completing a vintage set.
